We embarked on our (now) annual trip to Carribean Cove in Indianapolis. It was quite the eye-opener for me. It's funny how events take place to put life into perspective.
We started out going to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. I hadn't been in a few years...my how things have changed. The older boys went out on their own...we found them on the floor playing with musical instruments with employees of the museum.
Not only was it a music lesson, but the brainiacs of the group (Brevin and Keagan) made it all about science. I enjoyed listening to them talk and interact with the little boys. The employees were quite impressed with their knowledge and interest in music.
Next, we headed to the hotel. After a fun-filled day at the museum, everyone was hungry. However, that didn't stop them from swimming a bit first. While I ordered the pizza, they checked out the waterpark. After dinner I was able to get some pics.
We were only able to stay one night this year. Trust me, it was a blessing in disguise. I have full faith that next year will be more fun. I think we may be going somewhere else, but the Halloween trip tradition will be carried on. We do have a family vacation in April...we are going to Chicago. But before that, Reggie and I are taking a trip to Las Vegas to get to know each other again. Keep you posted...for sure.
